Sydney Trip - Day 4

Day 4
Woke up early, had breakfast, changed already, eagerly waiting for Daddy and Mummy to bring me out for another day of adventure ....

We wanted to take the ferry to Birkenhead Point where there are outlet stores there .... but there was only one ferry ride for that day at 3:45 pm. So in the end we took the bus there.

Since it was shopping again, I got bored and started to play a fool in Pumpkin Patch shop ...

Mummy deciding what to buy ....
We had lunch at Birkenhead, before we took a bus back to Circular Quay .... then we went to the Sydney Opera House to take a look (come Sydney, of course must go there take a look lar) ...

Noticed the different jacket I wore in the above photo and that below ?? Bright sunny day, but sometimes, the wind can really be strong ... so Daddy and Mummy had to keep changing my jacket, in case I catch a cold or get heat stroke !!!

Sticking tongue out with Daddy ....

A pub near the Opera House .... live band and all the people were dressed so nicely ...

We went to the Royal Botanical Gardens again to explore the other side (via Opera House entrance) before going back for dinner at the hotel.

After dinner, since the night was still 'young', Daddy decided to teach me some manners ... ha ha. How to say "Excuse Me" ....

Sydney Trip - Day 3 ( A Fishy Day!!)

Day 3

The weather was pretty good (bright and sunny) for a trip down to the Sydney Fish Market. Waiting patiently with a map in my hands for the Metro Light Rail to come, outside Paddy's Market ....

'Telling' Mummy the ride was pretty fun ...

Once we reached the Fish Market, I got very excited .... because there are so many types of fishes and crabs !!! My favourite !!!

Mummy fed me lunch at the seaside, so that I can look at the seagulls, pelican and ships while eating .... luckily, no strong wind so I will not catch a cold ....

I thought this was a duck ... until Mummy said this was a pelican

Then Daddy and Mummy went inside the Fish Market for their seafood lunch. They had half a lobster with lots of salad and chips, fresh big prawns and fried rice .... the seafood was relatively cheap, considering the freshness and size .... will never get that in Singapore !!!

After a sumptous lunch, we went back to the hotel to bathe and have my afternoon nap. Then we went to the Sydney Aquarium .... at the entrance with Daddy.

The Aquarium looked small on the outside, but as we walked inside, we realized the place was really big, divided into many different sections.

The ugly green moray eel ...

Touching the starfish ....

Oceanarium .... deep sea creatures .... HUGE Stingray (4m wide!) and HUGE Sharks swimming over our head. Mummy was so excited here cos she has never seen such big sharks and stingrays before.

And I saw my favourite frog !!! Kept asking it to jump but it simply ignored me :(

The Grand Finale : The Fish Symphony ....

Ready to sleep after a whole day of excitement.... But Mummy and Daddy dragged me downstairs to have 水饺. They said its nice and cheap.... but I'm so tired..... besides I finished my porridge in the hotel liao...

Sydney Trip - Day 2

Day 2

Maybe because I just recovered from fever, or I couldn't get used to my new bed , or maybe I was suffering from jet lag (erm... just 3 hrs of time difference leh), I woke up so many times in the night....Mummy gave up and put me to sleep with them.... then we woke up at 9am....

Mummy got to cook my porridge etc.. so by the time we left the hotel, it was 10+am already... really a free and easy holiday hahaha....

We visited the Paddy's market and the Market City factory outlet in the morning, which is 2 minutes walk from our hotel. The Paddy's market is like our pasar malam and wet market in Singapore, and all the stallholders are Asians ...

See how bored I was while Daddy and Mummy were shopping around for clothes .... isn't my new red hat nice ????

After lunch, we took a bus to the Circular Quay to explore the Rocks market.

Me sleeping comfortably inside the Ergo carrier ....

The Rock's Market is very different from the Paddy's Market .... a lot more interesting stuff like hand-made ornaments and artefacts.

After the Rock's Market, we went to the Royal Botanical Gardens ... and it is so big that there are several entrances to the gardens .....

Notice how weird this tree is ....

And even weirder with me standing in front of the tree and making funny faces ....

Then the wind got quite strong so I changed into my really thick golden jacket (on loan from Isabelle Jie Jie) .... I am the only one seen wearing such a thick jacket ... ha ha. Initially Mummy wanted to have lunch picnic at the Botanical Gardens ... lukcily we did not do so, otherwise, I would have frozen to death ....

We went back to the hotel for my afternoon bath and nap, before we go for dinner with Mummy's Australian colleague, Auntie Jannine. Because Auntie Jannine did not have a child seat in her car, so we went nearby to the Darling Harbour for dinner. Walked around the Darling Harbour for a while ...

Auntie Jannine (on the left) and her friend Auntie Karen (on the right)

Look at that huge seafood platter!! Its meant for TWO people!!

No traces of food left on the platter ..... good job by Auntie Jannine and Auntie Karen

And I stole some chips from Daddy's dinner while the adults were enjoying their seafood dinner .... YUMMY !!! This is the 1st time I am eating chips... Mummy usually don't let me eat junk food.... but Mummy thought since I am on holidays... oh well... *wink*

After dinner, I witnessed fireworks !!!! There was this rock band concert by a very big Church group (similar to City Harvest Church in Singapore) and they had fireworks at the end of the concert .... think the church must be very rich 'cos the fireworks lasted about 5 mins !!!

Walked back to the hotel really tired .... and then conked out in bed very soon .... waiting eagerly for the next day.
