Let's Play Non-Stop

Daddy, Mummy and I went to IMM in the afternoon to get something from Daiso. Then we saw there was this event "Let's Play Non-Stop" at the Level 3 Garden Plaza, so we went there to take a look

This was the event that the Singapore Sports Council was promoting .... to introduce different sports that were organized by SSC. And also to promote healthy living for people to start exercising and engaging in sports.

People having a try at Netball. No longer a privilege by the ladies

I was given a card to get a chop when I went to different stations and try out the games. There were shooting, basketball, bowling, soccer, golf and table tennis

And at the end of the 6 stations, exchanged the card for an instant lucky dip. Won a set of playing cards. One player is required to guess the sport described by his teammate without using the words stated on the card ... something like the game of "Taboo"

Did some colouring before I went back for my nap

公公 Birthday

We went to celebrate 公公 birthday on Sunday. So the night before, I drew a birthday card for 公公. When Daddy asked me who is the gal among the flowers, I told him she was 舅母. He was puzzled why I drew 舅母. Haha

And lots of balloons for 公公

We went to eat at Tung Lok at Ochard Central. They had pretty nice buffet, since we tried that the last time

Waiting for food to be served ....

And the first round of dishes came !!! Time to tuck in

And I was enjoying my yee-fu noodles

And of course eat and play with 表妹 at the same time

We ended up laughing heartily

And I gave 表妹 a big hug

Daddy decided to bring me and 表妹 for a walk during the buffet .... to digest !!! Haha

And I sneaked an attack on Daddy and 表妹 by taking a photo of them from the back. They were trying to see if they could look at the rest of the people from outside the restaurant. Peeping Toms !!!!

A nice garden outside the restaurant

Happy Birthday

Election

When elections are nearing, you start to see more walkabouts and more photo taking ..... and after the elections, you slowly forget how your MPs look like :(

This time, Daddy and Mummy get to vote .... tat means no more staying at home comfortably but braving the crowd to and worming their way to throw in their little pieces of paper .... got to earn their free holiday by 'working'

My neighbours, Auntie Lily and Uncle Michael went to Shanghai last week for vacation. And it so happened that there was a Singapore festival there, so they brought back some head gears for me !!!

With the help of Daddy, I managed to assemble the pieces together to form the head gears

RUN350

Daddy went for his first 10 km run in 2011 on Sunday, organised by NTUC. It was held at the Promontory @ Marina Bay so Daddy drove there. By right the intent of the run is to raise awareness to reduce carbon footprint so the organizers encouraged all participants to take public transport .... Haha. Daddy did not wear the running singlet provided by the organisers cos it was luminous orange and looked like the vest used for Corrective Work Order. See below.

Daddy did not really prepare much for tis run, just some occasional evening runs when he was free. So after the 8 km mark, Daddy had to walk for abt 3 mins before he carried on running. Managed to complete the entire run in 58:05 mins (rank 739, not sure how many people in total), which is considered not bad by Daddy's standard. Haha.

Daddy tot the route for tis run was pretty nice, since there were some portions of the route tat he was running for the first time, juz tat at the beginning of the run, some pathways were too narrow where everyone was trying to run past one another.

Got his finisher's medal.

And Daddy is going to try his luck at 4D using his bib tag.

Next 10km run will be the Sundown on 28 May 6 pm !!! His first Sundown running event.

Sentosa / RWS Walk

Since the weather in the late afternoon / evening was prety cooling (after a heavy rain in the afternoon), we decided to take a slow stroll at Sentosa / RWS. We drove directly to RWS and parked there, since we have some RWS points to exchange for complimentary parking.

Saw the poster about Shrek outside Universal Studio ... and I wanted to give him a kiss.

And also a kiss to his pet or friend ???

Along the street were a serious of artpieces ... so of course I wanted to take a photo with each and every artpiece

Daddy trying to enjoy his "delicious meal" !!!

We took the Sentosa Broadwalk to Vivocity for dinner

Very nice overview of the RWS as we walked along the Broadwalk ... and there was travellator to minimize walking as well !!!

A big crane near the entrance of the Sentosa Broadwalk (nearer Vivocity)

After dinner, we walked back to RWS / Sentosa. See how the signage and crane looked at night ...

Even the Broadwalk looked different at night

Took some pictures, with all the "stars" above me

And enjoying some Gelatin ice cream

Wanted to stay to watch the Crane show but the show was not confirmed till 9 pm. Since Daddy had a run on Sunday morning, we decided to give the Crane show a miss this time
