A Tour Aorund RWS

Daddy and Mummy were quite sua-ku since they have not been to RWS since it opened. So on christmas day evening, we went with 爷爷,奶奶 and 姑姑 (they acted as tour guides) to take a look.

Upon reaching the RWS, a map available to give us directions

Taking photos around the RWS ....

A very TALL christmas tree, with a shiny star on top

The RWS Casino !! Here we come .... err .... no way, $100 to enter the place, guaranteed to lose $$$ ???

Taking a ride on the escalator to all the hotels .... feels like going through a tunnel 'back to the future'

The elephant with LONG legs ???

Taking photos at the Festive Hotel. During this festive season, each room cost about $4XX ++ ... wait for it to drop in price, then maybe Daddy will consider getting one room to stay over

The Lake of Dreams lit up at night, really dreamy feeling

Saw this very beautifully decorated tree outside a shop .... and all the decorations were candies of different types !!!

So the shop has to be Candylicious

Took pictures with all the candy figurines

Decided to go inside the shop to take a look. See 爷爷 pushing a trolley, and he is way too big for that

But the trolley fitted me perfectly. Smart shopping concept ... let the kids control the trolley and they dump all sorts of candies inside and the daddies and mummies can just pay at the cashier

The M&Ms sitting on a flying plane inside the shop. And the shop was full of people, adults and kids

See Daddy 'eating'a BIG lollipop

While we were having dinner, it started raining really heavily. Was hoping that the rain would stop really soon, so that we can go and take a look at the RWS Crane Dance at 9 pm. The rain did die down a little to a light drizzle ... so we decided to stay around the sheltered area and look at the performance from far. The performance is supposedly the world’s largest animatronic show when two ginormous love birds groove on the groundbreaking music combines with stunning visual, light and water illusions

Guess what was I doing ??? Looking at the watch, counting down to the start of the RWS Crane Dance.

Since Daddy's camera was not of high quality, he had to steal some photos from TravelerFolio of the Crane Dance. The wait was really worth it, especially when the dance ended with burst of fireworks.

Went way past my normal bedtime ... but really enjoyed myself a lot. As we were walking towards the carpark to pick up our car, I heard some loud bangs ... and I told Daddy tat was fireworks. Daddy said no way (since the crane dance ended with fireworks already) ... and true enough, there were fireworks up in the sky !!! Just that it came from within Universal Studios where they played the fireworks at a specific timing (same as Disneyland). Haha, I was right after all !!!
