Christmas Party in School

We had our Christmas party / celebration in school on Thurs (23 Dec). Parents were invited to join in the celebration, and there will be potluck for the party. Mummy made sushi for the potluck.

This year, we have a simple celebration. Just some singing of christmas songs by the kids

The first performance was by the toddlers. Some of them thought they had a lollipop in their hands and start to put them in the mouth

By the K1 and K2 classes.

And after this, there was a special performance by .... Nana, my classmate. She learnt the voilin for only 9 months so far, and can play complete tunes

And the special performance by the teachers !!! They told a story about an old woman (by Ms Daphne, my English teacher), who could bake very, very nice cookies and she only gave her cookies to those who deserve them. However, there was this very rich and selfish man who wanted to taste the cookies, but could not get the old woman to share the cookies with him. So he locked the old woman up in her house so that she could not get ingredients to make her cookies. But somehow, the old woman still managed to get ingredients to make her cookies .... in the end, the rich and selfish man decided to listen to the old woman and shared his wealth and assets with people ... and by doing that, the old woman gave him some of her cookies. The story was about the essence of christmas .. to give and share !!! Once in a while, it was interesting to see the teachers perform, instead of just the kids .... haha. Three cheers for the teachers !!!!

And after all the performances, a special guest appearance !!! Santa Claus !!!
