Annual Christmas Celebration - NJCSB

As usual, it was the annual Christmas gathering for the NJCSB (NJC Symphonic Band) folks. This has been the usual practice for the last 17 years, whereby every year, Daddy and Mummy and their friends gathered at someone's place on the eve of Christmas to celebrate and meet up for some chit chat. Last year, it was at our place, and we drew lots that year, and this year, we are meeting at Uncle Mingde and Auntie Cindy place.

Since there were quite a number of young kids (less than 1 year old), we decided to start the gathering at 530 pm, so that those who needed to leave early can do so.

Uncle Solomon was the first to arrive (surprise, surprise, since he was usually the VVVIP, aka the last to arrive). Then we reached together with Uncle Qingrui, Auntie Yanzhu and Yusheng gor-gor

Yunrui di-di came later with his Daddy.

So happened that Uncle Mingde's place was out of electricity, so everyone thought we would have candle light dinner ... haha. Luckily, the electrician came to repair and we managed to get the lights back before all the folks arrived.
See Amelia, Zhiyun in her stripey zebra outfit

And gosh, look at the big spread ...

Aidan decorated this christmas tree himself

And time to start the feast. See '3 Michelin Star' - Chef Shaolin at work, cutting up the turkey for all to enjoy. He also helped to slice the ham up ... just that there was a comment that the slices seemed too thick and super uneven ... haha.

And the youngest addition to the gang ... Timothy (about 6 months old). Nope, actually the youngest addition has to be the little one inside Auntie Cindy's tummy .... due in Mar next year

The kids gathered around the table for the cake .... and I was the only one to make sure no one steal the cake

A happy reunion photo ... and many more years to come (maybe for the 20th anniversay, we can do something different). In fact, we have decided next year, the gathering shall be at Uncle Qingrui's new place !!!

Three cheers for the NJCSB gang !!!!
