Taiwan Trip - Day 1

Going to Taiwan this time, with Uncle Telang, Auntie Winnie, Joel and Camille. And we booked the promotion tickets by SQ, about $600 per person, including tax. Flight time was about noon time, so we checked in earlier.

As usual, both of us were entertained by Uncle Telang's iPhone games ... the best way to kill time while waiting to board the plane. And pity Uncle Telang. He just came back from his business trip the same day early morning and had only a few hours of sleep before we went on this trip.

On board the plane, and the kids got our kiddy stuff .... SQ resumed that practice after the financial crisis ...

Since the plane entertainment system was not on, I was satisfied with just the Ben 10 kiddy toy ...

And this was what I have been waiting for .... playing games !!!

Finally reached TaoYuan airport. We took a bus from the airport before taking a cab to our hotel at Zhong Li. Checked into the Duke Business hotel. We wanted to book the Park Hotel, which is nearer the Zhong Li town, but due to the Taiwanese holiday, all hotels near the Zhong Li town were fully booked. So had to settled for the Duke Business hotel.

We booked a triple room, each nite for only $60+. Cheap, but because it was far from Taipei city. Oops, Mummy helping me to change, and Daddy had to take a photo of the room

Not plasma TV, but good enough. There were so many channels to choose from, and even the VOD (Video on Demand) was free !!!

Had dinner nearby our hotel, and food was really cheap !!! Each bowl of beef noodle cost only $2+ and it tasted really nice !!!
