Little Chunli

In the evening when Daddy went to fetch me home from school, he was amused by my new hair-do (compliments from Miss Amanda) .... and he commented that I looked like Little Chunli.

And Miss Amanda said that Trisha's mummy said the same thing when she did the same hair-do for Trisha. Haha

Cute right ???

谁是小坏蛋 Part 2

Mummy sabo me when I was about to reach 1 year old .... that time, I was still not able to understand words and sentences, so when Mummy asked "谁是小坏蛋" ... I just raised my hand, thinking that she meant who is a good gal.

Now things are totally different when I am 4.5 years old .... when Mummy tried again and asked "谁是小坏蛋", I sang my little song that I came up with

我是小坏蛋 , 妈妈是中坏蛋 , 爸爸是大坏蛋

This time, Daddy and Mummy kenna saboed !!!! Haha. Dun 'pray pray'

Bicycle Ride at Bishan Park

On Sunday morning, instead of the usual West Coast park for my morning bicycle ride, we decided to go to the Bishan Park. This was the first time Daddy stepped into Bishan Park ... mountain tortoise for him .... haha

Reached the place at about 930 am. We saw folks doing their morning exercise

And really nice greenery inside the park

With foot reflexology facilities ....

And my favourite playground !!! After cycling for 15 mins, I went to play inside the playground ...

But gosh, the morning sun was really scorching, and so after 5 mins, we decided to go to the shade. Had to play on the swing before I left

Just as we left the park, we saw this spa !!! Cool concept, spa in the middle of a park !!!

Unfortunately, most of the trees were cut off at the park, so there was not too much shade at certain spots .... think West Coast park is still the better place for a nice cool ride on my bicycle

Enjoying our noodles with KFC with Yunsheng gor-gor

Aidan hiding the host behind .... how can ???

Tada .... Uncle Qingrui keeping the kids entertained with Lego
We stayed till 930 pm or so, before we left the place .... fun time with my friends !!!

Enjoy some videos that Daddy has taken during the gathering !!!

Messy No More ...

All my hair accessories were kept in my cupboard, and since the collection was growing, they became quite messy.

So 舅母 bought a DIY storage box for me, to keep all my hair accessories ....

So now, messy no more !!!

NDP Attire

My school is celebrating NDP on Monday, and the attire is to be in red and white. Since I have outgrew all my red blouse, Mummy went to buy one for me over the weekend.

Putting on my NDP attire on Sunday evening, just to make sure everything is OK ....
Happy 46th Birthday, Singapore !!!

A Morning at Istana

Daddy read on the Net that the Istana is open to public on Sunday, so we decided to make a trip there in the morning, before we go down to 公公 place.

Reached Plaza Singapura at 845 am to have breakfast at Toast Box. After we were done with our breakfast, we made our way to the Istana. The magnificent gate ....

And the guard of honour

And gosh, while we reached the entrance at 915 am (the Istana was opened at 8 am), there was quite a queue formed. Took about 30 mins or so, before we managed to get inside to go through the security station. In the meantime, the sky turned a little gloomy .... and I was trying to sing the "Rain Rain Go Away" song

Once we reached the Istana grounds, we saw this white swan gliding gracefully on the water

And it was time to go loose and wander around the BIG BIG place. Greenery everywhere !!!

All the Singapore birthday wishes !!!

And the Jurong Bird Park had a station in the Istana. For every $10 dollars donation, we could take a photo with the beautiful birds

And get to touch the Flying Squirrel specimen

How I wished that the Istana can be opened to public everyday, so that I can just run about on the grass .... errr, which president candidate said that he is going to push for that ??? Vote vote ??? Haha

My "Rain Rain Go Away" song did not work, so it still rained in the morning ....

We had to cut short our morning trip and therefore made our way to 公公 place after that. Hope to go to the Istana again this year, when the place is made open to public again

NDP 2011 Preparation

In preparation for NDP celebration in school, we were taught to sing the song "Home" by Kit Chan. Was given the lyrics so that Daddy and Mummy can practise with me at home. So when Mummy tried that at home, I showed her that I could sing along with the music

And I could sing it without the music as well !!!

And then I told Mummy that I knew of this mosquito song, improvised with Kit Chan's tune .... all thanks to my friends in school. Haha. Enjoy

Music Lessons

I just got my Harmony Road semester report and certificate after completing Book 1. Brought the book back home for revision. From my teacher's feedback, they said I am a very keen musical learner. Have a good memory for the songs. And I am able to identify the basic 5-note range and identification of high and low notes on the keyboard.

With some help, the teachers said I am able to play some simple songs from the book. So Daddy and Mummy helped me to revise in the evening after dinner

Daddy and Mummy are happy that I have learnt well in school

Indoor Kite Flying Festival 2011

The first time that Indoor Kite Flying Fiesta was held in Singapore. And the idea is to have kites fly without wind. And how does that work ??? Let the experts show you how later

Representative from U.S.A. And he was the champion of some competition. Liked his body movement as he danced to the music, with his kite

Then we have the juggler from Singapore, to provide some entertainment

And next to put up the show was the Malaysian expert

And in fact, we have live music - the harpsichord !!! In Singapore, not many people can play the harp, and in fact, that is one of the most difficult instrument to tune and play well

The China representative had the kite in the shape of an aeroplane

A group of enthusiasts showing their skills ...

And Singapore representative !!!!

We left halfway before the festival ended, since I had to go to bed early and prepare for school the following day
