4th Birthday Celebration - Round 1 (School)

Today we celebrated my birthday in school. I wore my new birthday dress to school, and when Ms Samantha saw me in my new dress, she said I need to wear an apron during breakfast, so that I do not dirty it ... and true enough, 宋老师 helped me put on an apron during breakfast time ... haha.

Daddy and Mummy left after bringing me to school, so that they can collect the birthday cake at Jurong Point. So throughout the entire morning, my mind was about when Daddy and Mummy will come back with the cake to start the celebration. Kept pestering Miss Daphne about this ... super inattentive during lesson time .... haha.

And finally Daddy and Mummy came at about 1020 hrs, and that was when we started my birthday celebration. Handed out birthday goodie bags to all my friends

And everyone put on their birthday hats, sitting around the table

And also my Chinese teacher, 宋老师, who has been teaching me for the past 2.5 years !!!

And tada ... my care bear birthday cake from Prima Deli. I chose this design myself

With all the candles lighted up, it was time to sing the birthday song

And singing birthday songs definitely has been a routine for my class, since we have birthday celebrations throughout the year. And since I am the last one to celebrate birthday, all my friends had sufficient practice to sing the birthday song ... haha

And then it was my turn finally to enjoy my cake. But I was too excited over hitting the pinata later that I did not finish my cake

Kids are always kids, we enjoy cakes a lot, especially the boys, who kept asking for 2nd and 3rd servings !!!


After everyone has enjoyed our cakes, we gathering around at the reading corner for a photo shoot ... wonder what Miss Daphne or 宋老师 said that everyone's expression was so weird ... except for me, who kept looking at the camera.


And everyone burst our laughing ....


Guess what were we looking at, up in the ceiling ???


The pink horse that was hanging from the ceiling of course !!!

I started off the fun first and then we took turns to hit the pinata. In fact, I was like a teacher, passing the hitting stick around to my favourite friends first.

And Daddy had to make a tear on the pinata, so that it can break easier. And when all the sweets dropped out onto the floor, that was when chaos occurred !!! All the kids, including me rushed to get the sweets !!!

And inside the pinata were all these sweets ...

Helped Mummy to put the sweets into the pinata 2 nights ago ....

Daddy and Mummy left after the celebration since I wanted to stay in school and play with all my friends. And ever since Jun Rui said I am the most beautiful today, I insisted on putting back the dress after shower. Wore that to 爷爷 and 奶奶 house that evening and only agreed to change out of the dress to avoid dirtying the dress. Mummy say I am such a vainpot.

This must be my most enjoyable birthday celebration in school so far, as previous years, either my friends were on holidays, or I was too young to know what is happening. Also, this is the 1st year that I am having a proper cake for my birthday since I outgrew my allergies.

Looking forward to my birthday celebration on Christmas Day ... and on that day, I will get my birthday present from Daddy and Mummy !!!

三字经

我在公公家背三字经，连公公都被吓了一跳，哈哈。因为学校都有播三字经的 ，所以听久了，便会了

看，这个是妈妈买回来的一本三字经，结果那本三字经少了很多段 (Mummy would have said "this book cannot make it")。还好是我跟妈妈说，由妈妈填补上去。

这个是妈妈从图书馆借回来的，总共有三十五段，到目前为止，我只背到第七段。哈哈

其实，我会其中一些意释 (因为老师有教)，譬如孔融让梨 !!! 我都有跟表妹分享玩具 !!!

Ready for My Birthday

Finally ... my birthday is nearing. Daddy and Mummy have promised me that I shall have my first round of birthday celebration in school on 17 Dec. And my second round of birthday celebration with my close family on 25 Dec (yes, christmas day itself) ... and on my actual birthday (31 Dec), we shall go for another round of celebration

So packing the birthday goodies bags for all my friends .... Mummy has already ordered my birthday cake, and she is going to get a pinata for me on Fri .... really cannot wait for that day to come ... if only, I can skip the rest of the days and jump to Fri straightaway

Super Flexible

See how super flexible I am ... I can be like Uncle Shucheng, put his leg over his neck !!! Ha ha

Christmas Is Coming ...

As usual, since Christmas is nearing, it is time to put up the christmas tree ....

Daddy dug out the christmas tree and the decorations from the store room, and after Mummy has put up the bare christmas tree, it was time for me to do the decorations !!! We bought LED lights this year (since the blinking light bulbs that we used for many years before are not working anymore).

And when I put up the wedding bears, Mummy said they were too close together. I told her, must put the bears close together, since the bears are Daddy and Mummy ... haha. So the bears are now side by side ....

The final product .... a beautifully decorated tree, standing by the windows, put up by Daddy, Mummy and me !!!

And I posed in front of it, as if I were wearing a skirt

And the best way to let people know Christmas is nearing, is to sing christmas songs !!!

Touring MBS

Since it rained the whole day morning and afternoon and stopped in the evening, we decided to take advantage of the cool weather and make a trip to the MBS. First time there for Daddy and me, but the rest have been there previously ... so we were the only "sua-ku" folks

Then we ventured inside the MBS shopping arena ... had dinner at the newly opened "high-class" foodcourt by KouFu. A meal easily cost about $8+, compared to normal KouFu branches, which is half the price. But have to say that the quality of food is pretty good, just that portion is a little small

And we saw gor-gor and jie-jie walking on slits inside the shopping area .... errr, wouldn't the jie-jie feel cold in the air-con place ???

Then we saw the famous CASINO !!! When I overheard Daddy and Mummy talking about the casino, I asked Mummy what is a casino ... while Mummy was thinking hard how to reply me, I blurted out in Chinese "they sell people" ??? Everyone laughed ... dunno where I got this idea from

Hi-5 Performance

Daddy had to go to Mandarin Oriental to pass something to his colleague on Sunday, so since we were there, we decided to have dinner at Marine Square and try to catch the Hi-5 performance. Managed to be one of the last few to squeeze inside the seating area ....

Doing some warm-up prior to the performance ... looked like some 追偶像 concert, with everyone screaming

And the Hi-5 team on stage !!!

Watching them on stage beats watching them on TV !!!

Philson's Birthday Party

Went to celebration Philson's birthday on Sunday evening at his place. Have been excited to join in the celebration since the night before ... kept asking and confirming with Daddy and Mummy that I am indeed going to Philson's house the following day .... woke up early at 645 am the following morning, slept only 1 hr in the afternoon (and Daddy / Mummy thought I would have slept at least 2-3 hrs since I woke up so early). And the reason why I was so excited was because Philson's house has lots of TOYS !!!!

Reached his house at about 6 pm ... ate my dinner while watching Toy Story 3 (can never get sick of that, despite watching the show before). Then Wii time !!! The kids took turns to have fun at the Wii machine ....

And then the real fun started. Philson's daddy bought the pinata for the kids to take turns to hit it .... But the kids did not have enough strength, and all the adults thought we were going to take the whole night hitting ....

So to save the agony of the adults, Philson's grandfather decided to play cheat a little and tore a small section .... and when the sweets spilled out on the floor, all the kids rushed to get our reward !!!

Cake cutting ceremony ... ice-cream cake !!! Unfortunately, I still prefer my conventional cake, since ice-cream cake was too cold for me .... haha
