Who Cares About Ice Cream

Since I am officially no allergic to milk, Mummy decided to see if I want to eat some ice cream ... I have always seen my friends eating ice cream but I could not eat in the past. So when Mummy offered, I said YES of course

But see my expression after the first taste ....

After that, I decided that was enough .... so NO MORE ICE CREAM FOR ME !!! Not sure if the ice cream was too cold or I am still not used to the taste of milk (maybe chocolate flavoured ice cream might be different) ...

Mummy felt I did not miss out anything, since ice cream is sweet and easily cause cough and phlegm.

Celebrating Mummy's Birthday

Today is Mummy's birthday so after we went out for dinner, Daddy bought a small brownie cake back home to sing the birthday song .... since now I can eat 'normal' cakes (instead of eggless, creamless cakes)

So I take the lead in singing the birthday song (well seasoned now since I do that multiple times in school)



And after the singing ceremony, Daddy took a photo of me and Mummy

And Daddy requested me to be the photographer so that he can take a photo with Mummy as well. Since he believed in my photography skills, I decided not to disappoint him. Daddy specifically told me that I must capture both of them with the cake in the photo

So first shot .... err .... cake in, Mummy in, Daddy in, but head cut off a bit

So Daddy said give me another chance .... Daddy and Mummy decided to lower themselves earer to the cake so that their head can still be intact.

So second shot ... errr ... how come still the same ???

Seems like my focus was always on the cake .... so gave up !!! We decided to finish the cake .... yummy yummy

All Because of Me

Today, Joel and Olivia got into a big argument in school .... and it was all because of me !!!

WHY ?????

Because Olivia said I was her best friend, but Joel told her I was his best friend instead ....

AND IN REALITY ....

They are both my best friends !!!!

Developing Well

宋老师 was telling Daddy one evening when he fetched me back from school, that he should not worry about me lagging behind my peers. Reason is because she thinks my logical thinking and speech are really good. For example, that evening, since Daddy was a little late to pick me up, all my friends have gone back home. So I sat beside 宋老师 in the classroom and started a conversation with her.

I told 宋老师 that it was raining these few days ... and that it always rained in the afternoon ... and asked her why it always rained ... 宋老师 felt that it was like 2 adults conversing with each other, lamenting about the bad weather ... ha ha.

Then I asked 宋老师 what she was doing (宋老师 was preparing some teaching materials for the class), why she has to do that etc ....

Daddy and Mummy are glad that I learnt quite a lot in school. Hope I continue to develop well mentally and also physically .... I am still 14 kg but shot to 100 cm in height .... going to be a bamboo stick soon ... ha ha

I Can Drink Milk Now

I went for my milk challenge at KK hospital today. So the evening before the challenge, Daddy and Mummy brought me to NTUC so that I can choose my 'favourite' packet milk for the challenge. In the end, I chose Marigold chocolate milk !!! Good choice right ?? Better than vanilla milk. But what really attracted me was the picture of the cow on the packet

So on the actual day, Mummy brought my 'favourite' milk and some cheese (just in case picky me refuse to drink the milk). Same process as the egg challenge, drink a bit of milk, wait and monitor. No negative response to the milk, take more, wait and see .... so after 3 hours, I finally completed all the milk I needed to drink (252.5ml). Then wait another 1 hour to monitor me...

Since I did not have breakfast, and only milk, I was a little hungry. So Mummy went down to the foodcourt and bought fried rice for me to eat. However, after that, there was a little red bump near my eye, which looks like hives. So the doctor said she needed to extend my time to continue to monitor me .... strange that there would be a red bump after so long cos I used to get reaction immediately. Luckily, the red bump disappeared after a while. The doctor think I might have rubbed my eyes with my oily hands.

So after 4.5 hours at KK hospital, I declare that I CAN NOW DRINK MILK .... or rather COW'S MILK, and cheese, and ice-cream, and chocolates, and normal bread and biscuits, cakes, and many many more !!!!

So back to school in the afternoon, my best friend Elise immediately ran up to me and asked " Ting Ting, you can drink milk already?" ... and I said YES !!! Everyone was so happy for me.

Mummy feels that this is the best birthday (her birthday is tomorrow) present that she has received so far .... and it came at the right time, cos Daddy is going to buy a BIG birthday cake for Mummy tomorrow, so that I can eat!!!

Oh... and Mummy says she is going to bring me for McDonald's breakfast this Sat..... imagine I am 3+ years old, yet I have never eaten at MacDonald's before!!! I am so looking forward to it!!!

Night Toilet Training

I started my night toilet training in Jan this year ... so every night, at about 11 pm, Daddy will bring me to the toilet. And this is how I am throughout the peeing session ...




If Daddy does not go "shh.....", sometimes I refused to pee. Ha ha. And yes, I am too tired to even open my eyes. Sometimes, had to lean on Daddy's shoulders, otherwise, my whole body will knock into something.

And when Daddy bring me back to bed, I can continue to sleep throughout the nite.

So far, in the morning, my diapers are not that wet (and at times, it is totally dry). Hope my night training will soon help Daddy save some diapers $$$. Ha ha.

Music with my Lips

Who says making music requires musical instruments ??? My lips can do the job nicely !!!

So before I go to bed, I used my lips to make beautiful music for Daddy.

Doing My Homework

Daddy 'supervised' me in my homework today ....

And dun ask me why I need to wear googles when doing homework .... I just like.

Fun with Joel Again

I kept bugging Daddy and Mummy to ask Auntie Winnie to bring Joel to my house and play with me. But Daddy and Mummy said I am a big gal now, so I should ask Auntie Winnie myself. So on Thursday in school, when Auntie Winnie went to fetch Joel home, I ran up to her and asked her to bring Joel to play with me on Saturday.

When Daddy fetched me from school on Thursday, I told him that and he thought I was joking. Then Auntie Winnie SMSed Mummy and said I asked for Joel on Sat (ha ha, surprised Daddy and Mummy)... and so ...

On Saturday morning, Uncle Telang and Auntie Winnie brought Joel and Camille to my house !!! Started off by playing with me kitchen set

Then after lunch, we played with balloon !!! Daddy was so afraid that we will clash into each other and end up on the floor !!!

Shall ask Auntie Winnie again to bring Joel to my house .... and my next target shall be Olivia !!! Daddy and Mummy know I am really a big gal now, not shy to ask for what I want ... ha ha
