Jesus and 小叮当 ???

The christmas season is everywhere in Singapore ... christmas decorations everywhere, including Orchard Road and the major shopping malls ....

Saw this very nice display at Suntec City ....

Could tell Daddy and Mummy that there are sheep in there (learnt that animal when I was in Sydney) ... and I can even count the sheep ... 5 of them !!! Daddy thought I was wrong, until he re-counted and realized I was indeed correct (he missed out the sheep in the arms) .... To tell the truth, I was not really counting the sheep ... was just rattling out the numbers ... next time, as long as there are 5 items, and you ask me to count, most likely I will get it right !!! Cos, I usually rattled until the number 5 and stop ... ha ha

Then all of a sudden, I shouted out "Bye Bye 叮当" when I was about to leave .... Daddy was blurred, kept looking out for someone holding a 小叮当 balloon .... but found no one .... then he thought I mistook the baby for 小叮当 ..... But if you look hard enough at the first picture and in the video, you will realize a blue thing at the middle of the white fence ... that was a 小叮当 sticker and I was saying Bye Bye to the sticker !!! Mummy pointed that out to Daddy and Daddy almost burst out laughing.

Sesame Street 2008

This year, Daddy and Mummy will bring me to a lot of free performances to watch all my favorite cartoon characters (Mummy got this list of such performances from the forum).

So today, we started with the Sesame Street performance at Marina Square ... and my favourite character is of course Elmo !!! Auntie Esther introduced Elmo to me when she was taking care of me

We reached there exactly on the dot ... but because the performance was so popular, the seating area was completely ocuppied. So Daddy had to carry me throughout the entire performance

Although my weight is only 50th percentile (last check), Daddy still found me heavy ... so he put me on his shoulder ... but I was not used to it so in the end, Daddy had to carry me in his hands again ... poor Daddy

At the start of performance ....

ELMO ... 我永远支持你 !!! Actually I looked a bit stoned since this is the first time I saw such a big Elmo, and so agile !!!!

Bert and Ernie

Another of my favourite character ... Cookie Monster .... used to hug cookie monster to bed when I was younger
The entire family of Sesame Street !!! See how agile they all are, even in such thick costumes
When Mummy comes back from her Shanghai business trip, then we shall go to watch my ultimate favourite character .... BARNEY, BJ and BABY BOP !!!

Celebrating 姑姑 Birthday

Today, Uncle Telang and Auntie Winnie brought Joel gor-gor and Camille mei-mei to visit us .... our house .... initially both Joel gor-gor and me were a bit shy so we did not interact at all ... until I went to get my toy car then we started to play together ... Unfortunately Camille mei-mei is only 6 months old, so cannot play with her ....

After that, we went to celebrate 姑姑 birthday .... ate a bowl of spaghetti, bits of teriyaki chicken, lots of corn (which means my poo-poo tomorrow will be really smelly). Then 姑姑 decided to let me cut the water melon and apples so that I can eat them .

姑姑 bought me a toy frog .....

Still feeling hungry so 姑姑 gave me some hard roll (I stole from the buffet table) ....

Happy Birthday 姑姑 !!!!

P.S : Next morning, I went to find my new frog toy immediately after waking up

'Spicy' Gal

While Daddy and Mummy were having Japanese curry for dinner, I got greedy and kept insisting that I want to eat their food ... The "Terrible 2"

So Mummy decided to give me a small slice of spicy carrot from the Japanese curry, hoping that I will learn my lesson .... BUT I LOVED JAPANESE CURRY and wanted more .... So Mummy's evil plan failed .... ha ha

My next target : Any other curry with no milk ....

Today, 舅舅 and 舅母 tried to show me magic ... and I really got fancinated by that ... in fact 舅舅 and 舅母 was tricked by the sales person, thought it was 'real magic' ....

Blowing Hard

舅母 taught me to blow hard at the windmill and it will turn .... I tried but after a while, I feel giddy .... how come 舅母 can do it but I cannot !!! :(

Sweeping Rubbish

Fashion

Now, I insist on choosing my clothes to go 'gai-gai' .... even though it means exposing myself while choosing the clothes .... Ooops, R-rated !!!

This is what I have decided to wear to the market ....

Sydney Trip - Return to Singapore

Since Daddy has to return the rental car early, we reached the airport at 9 am, while our return flight was at 12:30 pm. Saw a Krispy Kreme outlet at the airport so Mummy bought 2 donuts to try (since heard nice reviews from people). Verdict : OK only lar ...

Then we went to take a rest at the KrisFlyer Lounge ...

Trying to steal Daddy's drink ... Bloody Mary

Since Daddy's singing was so "bad", I have to keep telling Daddy "Dun Sing"

Mummy asked for a bassinet on the plane but because there were so many infants that day, the airline decided to give me a seat by myself !!! That is of course better than a bassinet, because I CAN WATCH TV !!!!

Watching "Kungfu Panda" on the plane .... but everytime, the panda disappeared, I kept asking for panda to appear ....

Some photos on the return trip :

I enjoyed myself so much throughout the entire trip that I am now looking forward to the next one .... but poor Daddy and Mummy were so tired from the trip ....

Sydney Trip - Day 7

Day 7

We left Katoomba town early in the morning. Wanted to go to the Penrith Valley Orange farm but would be too rush for us. So drove down to the Sydney Olympic Park, just to take a look at the Olympic Village ....

At the Sydney Olympic Park. It was a really sunny day .... sunblock, sunglasses, hat .... I am all ready to run about in the park

Nice water feature in the park ....

Train station at Olympic Park

Want to play a game of chess with me ?

Watch me !!! I AM THE QUEEN !!!

We dropped by at the Homebush Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) shopping mall, which is just 5 minutes drive from the park. The shopping mall is really big, BUT the stupid carpark is so small, that Daddy spent 30 mins waiting, before he could find a lot. Luckily, parking was free, otherwise he would have drove off. Since it was shopping again, I got bored and started messing up the shoes and clothes in the shops that we went into .... my favorite past-time.

After that, Daddy drove us to this place called Parramatta town to stay one night, since that is closer to Sydney airport. We stayed at the Rydges Parramatta Hotel, which is about 5 minutes drive from Westfield Parramatta shopping mall (SHOPPING AGAIN !!!).

The Westfield Parramatta shopping mall is really big and grand (something like Suntec City, except that it is much bigger), although the external appearance was quite shabby. Daddy and Mummy did their last minute shopping

Saw some fish tanks in the shopping mall ... definitely more interesting than shopping.

For dinner, we met up with Mummy's colleague, Uncle Sujit, at his place (so nice of him). Uncle Sujit has a gal and we played together. And I also got to play with so many toys !!!

That night, I slept at 10:30 pm !!!!

Some photos from Day 7

Sydney Trip - Day 6 (Scenic Day)

Day 6

Daddy and Mummy decided to explore the scenic Blue Mountains views today ..... which means no moving animals to keep me entertained !!! So I had to rely on moving buses, trains, cable cars ....

Waiting for the Discovery Bus to take us to the station for the scenic railway ...

At the station where we are going to take the train .... The 3 sister and the wizard who turned them into rocks ....

Errr .... X-rated for me !!!!
Taking this train later down to the bottom ....

The steepest funicular railway in the world

At the bottom of the train ride .... Mummy tried to take photos along the way but the photos turned out blur since the speed down the slope was too fast

Daddy teaching me how to ride a horse ... except that the horse does not move at all :(

Daddy and me pushing a cart of mine ... piece of cake

The Scenic Sky Cable

Moving scenery does not really excite me that much

The Three Sisters (3 rocks in the middle)

Scenic views of the Blue Mountains

Then we went to explore the town .... The Chocolate Factory ... really beautiful .... but I am allergic to the chocolates that are inside the factory :(

Enjoying myself on the slide outside the Chocolate Factory .... Hooray

Singing on the streets ... on the way back to the apartment

Other photos from Day 6 ...

Sydney Trip - Day 5

Day 5

Last day at Sydney and Daddy is going to drive us up to the Blue Mountains and stay in a small town called Katoomba. So we set off early straight after breakfast to collect the rental car in Sydney.

Along the way up to Katoomba, we stopped to visit the Featherdale Wildlife Park (about 45 mins drive from Sydney).

This is the highlight of the trip for me. There were soooooo many different animals there. And the best part is, they allowed all the harmless animals to roam around so that we can touch them!

Feeding the Wallabies.....

The sleeping Tasmanian Devil

Pelican again !!! But I ran away as it came near me ....

My favourite Koala!!

The Albino peacock ...

Mummy the Sheep and Jing Ting the Pig ... Dun we look cute ???

Feeding the baby sheep.... but with the wrong food so they are not interested :P

Snoring away in the car after all the fun ...

Upon reaching Katoomba Town, we went to check into our 1-bedroom apartment .... and the apartment is really BIG !!! It is like a landed property in Singapore, with a master bedroom, a separate kitchen (complete with a gas oven, gas stove and full set of cutlery etc), separate living room and separate bathroom ... and only cost AUD$ 130 per night !!!

Daddy and Mummy taking a rest in the apartment while me take my afternoon milk before we go explore the town

Since Katoomba is high up in the Blue Mountains, I better put on a thicker jacket before I step out of the apartment.

Walking down the streets ....
